মৃত্যু
Endings, transformation, transition, letting go
Not in the form you're asking. The situation has to transform first; what you're seeking will look different on the other side.
Death rarely means literal death. It means a chapter is closing — completely — and a new one is beginning. This is one of the most powerful cards in the deck because it doesn't allow half-measures. What you've been hanging onto is being taken from your hands so something better can arrive. It hurts, but it's clean. The relationship, the job, the identity, the habit — it's done. Let it die fully. The transformation you've been waiting for can't begin until the old form is gone.
Reversed, Death is the energy of refusing to let something end — a dead relationship, a dead job, a dead version of yourself. The ending is happening anyway; you're just making it more painful. Or alternatively, fear of change is keeping you stuck in a half-life.
A relationship ending, or transforming so completely that the old version is gone. Sometimes a difficult breakup that's also liberating. New love is on the other side.
Hanging on to a relationship that's already over. Refusing to grieve. Letting fear keep you in a dynamic that's hurting you.
Job ending, career pivot, or industry shift. Don't fight it — the new role is bigger than the one being lost.
Holding onto a job out of fear, or refusing to acknowledge that your industry/role is dying. Pivot before forced.
