The Peacemaker
Wants harmony and connection, avoids conflict and their own anger.
About the Type 9 type
Nines are warm, accepting, and easy to be around. They merge with the people and environments around them, sometimes losing track of their own preferences in the process. The shadow is invisibility — both to others and to themselves.
Core fear: separation, conflict, loss of inner peace. Core desire: to maintain peace. The growth direction is naming what you actually want and risking the conflict that follows.
Strengths
- Holds space for many perspectives
- Calm in conflict

- Anger that goes underground rather than direct
- Loses touch with own preferences
In love & relationships
Nines love through warmth and steady presence. The work is showing up as a self with preferences — your partner needs to know what you want, not just what you'll accept.
At work
Counselling, mediation, ministry, teaching, hospitality, the arts. Anywhere harmony-holding is the work.
Growth direction
Name your preference before you absorb someone else's. The world will not crumble if you say what you want — but you might quietly disappear if you don't.
